VSME Report 2025

1. juli 2026

At Crossbridge Energy, we recognize that the energy sector is undergoing significant change. Society's expectations, regulatory requirements, and the transition towards a lower-carbon future continue to shape the environment in which we operate. As one of Denmark's key producers of liquid fuels, we have a responsibility to operate safely, responsibly and transparently while ensuring a reliable supply of energy to society.

VSME 2025
This report represents Crossbridge Energy's first sustainability report prepared in accordance with the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs (VSME). It provides a structured overview of our approach to environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics, our current performance, and the initiatives we are undertaking to support the long-term development of our business.
Our ambition with this report is not only to meet increasing expectations for transparency, but also to provide stakeholders with a balanced and factual account of how sustainability is integrated into our operations. As a refinery operating in a complex and energy-intensive industry, we believe that credible sustainability reporting requires openness about both achievements and challenges. Throughout this report, we therefore aim to present information that is proportionate, evidence based and aligned with the realities of our business.
Crossbridge Energy continues to pursue a two-track strategy: maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient refinery operations while simultaneously developing opportunities that support the energy transition. This includes improving energy efficiency, reducing operational emissions where technically and economically feasible, strengthening occupational health and safety, maintaining high standards of business conduct, and exploring future energy solutions in collaboration with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
The report is structured around the three fundamental dimensions of sustainability - Environment, Social and Governance - and presents the policies, risks, performance indicators and future initiatives that are considered most relevant to our business. Together, these elements provide a transparent overview of how we create value today while preparing for tomorrow's energy landscape.
We view sustainability reporting as a continuous journey. As our business evolves and reporting practices mature, we expect this report to develop further, supporting informed dialogue with our employees, customers, suppliers, authorities, investors and the communities in which we operate.
